FRIDA

Frida a study of strength and beauty in full color. I chose to create a black jaguar because of the mystery and power of this stunning cat. She is created in a dark clay and hand painted in various underglazes and glaze. Her garments are made of hand embroidered linen and combined with vintage fabrics. Her head is adorned in silk flowers and her bottom finished in cotton eyelet bloomers.
